![]() This is where the movie earns its PG rating. As a mom, I felt for her character because her kids don’t speak kindly about her at all. Instead, characters say phrases like “I screwed up,” “stupid,” and “Captain Poopypants.” There is also trash talking during the paintball scene like “I’m going to take you down.” And last but not least, the Torres’ kids call Allison a “fun killer” and equate her to a dictator. I didn’t notice any profanity in this movie. Yes Day is rated TV-PG, which means that parental guidance is recommended. There are more rules but here’s what parents need to know about the Yes Day Netflix age rating. For example, “Yes” Day has to be earned, kids also can’t ask to do anything dangerous or illegal, it has to be based on the family’s budget, and they can’t ask to travel anywhere 20 miles beyond their house. A parent’s worst nightmare and a child’s perfect day. Meaning that they basically say yes to everything their children want in a 24 hour time span. However, Allison then explains “When we had kids, yes became no.”Īfter Allison and Carlos meet with school administrators regarding their kids’ negative attitude towards Allison, they agree to give their kids a “Yes” Day. As Allison says at the beginning of the movie, she and Carlos used to do a lot of fun “yes” things before becoming parents, like skydiving.
